Wow, how cool is this:

Don't get me wrong, I love me some gold dubloons, but could you just, please, show us some artifacts?????

'Odyssey likely will return to the same spot for more coins and artifacts.

"We have treated this site with kid gloves and the archaeological work done by our team out there is unsurpassed," Odyssey CEO John Morris said. "We are thoroughly documenting and recording the site, which we believe will have immense historical significance.""

Here's hoping for a "Mary Rose" type haul!

and I've already been thinking this AM.

this bit is copied from my latest post... but I thought it might be something to seriously consider for a project:

So I figured a little pocket-sized planner would work well; even tho I only need it for 2 weeks. I was experimenting with printing up custom weekly calendars and all... but it just didn't work out that well. I discovered this little gem. its 3"x4.5", and covered in green oriental-style green brocade. Its loverly, and the perfect size. And is inspiring me for next year.

If we can come up with an easy to duplicate and mass produce design (similar to scroll cases, i'm thinking) with page-per-day for the entirety of Pennsic and/or August... that might make for an awesome fund-raiser, or Royalty Gift Basket items. Retainers, Order Members, Officers, etc would love me fuh'evah... esp if (Gods forbid!) we actually get Battle and meeting and Court schedules ahead of time and can pre-print them in the calendar. I think tho... just blank Calendars with plenty of room to add their own items would be more prudent.

of course, i can't find this planner anywhere online... it was marked down to $4 at Wal-Mart (yes, I know... evil Wal-Mart... it was a necessary evil). too lazy for pics, i'll show it around tho. :D
